In our travels trying to find stock, we often run across animals that are off limits and not available for purchase. While frustrating, we usually stay concentrated on trying to gather them one way or another. When I saw AGAINST THE GRAIN at 80 pounds, I knew I was looking at a hog that could change the breed.

Luckily, our friends at Goss Livestock agreed and we were able to partner with them to bring this incredible breeding hog to Yukon.

His name describes him very well, he is no sissy! Giant limbs that are comfortable, short short bodied and barrel ribbed. For a hog that reads stout stout, he is still very tall shouldered and has perfect posture. He does all this with absolutely ZERO crest and a strong sturdy front foot.

We are so excited to be able to offer a red boar of this caliber. Let’s get them bred!!!
