About 10 minutes after unloading at PT this past fall, a pig walked off the trailer that hit me like a ton of bricks. That pig ended up being Perfect Storm. I touched base with Jeremy and Jacie later that day and found out that his mother was the Buckle Up gilt I had begged him to sell me as a baby. That gilt ended up winning plenty of banners for their family and being the mother of the incredibly deep 7 litter that contained Perfect Storm. Luckily, we were able to get him gathered for the hefty price of 110k on sale day. Perfect Storm’s grandma has been a staple for them as well. She was purchased from HH and is also the mother of Trick Daddy.

PERFECT STORM is as genuine and authentic as they come in terms of cage, tone of muscle, and spread underneath. He is truly a hog that puts together all the pieces in such a complete way, but still has the feature and presence to generate winners at the highest level. If you saw him at PT, he looks like he did then but just bigger, smoother, and stouter. When spending that kind of money on a boar, the expectations are extremely high, but we could not be more pleased and excited about how he’s matured.
